Do you love what you do for a living?

Y’know it gets harder and harder to seem to enjoy what we are doing on a regular basis. Either it burns us out and we get bored and look for something different.
I am finding that more true with so many students that I have met. I don’t know if they are looking for the perfect position or they have set their standards too high.
Compromise is a powerful word….and it works.
Find something that intrigues you and begin to experiment with the idea. Google as much as you can, and talk to other people in the field.
Get the book “What color is my parachute? 2012″ and actually go thru it. Find out what intrigues you and holds your attention.
When I read that people between the age of 21 -30 might go thru 8 jobs….just in that short span of time! What are they really looking for?
I have heard that HR departments are stunned by the way these young people can’t stay focused for long term responsibilities.
I would be curious what your attitudes are about this dilema?
Maybe all of our “ripples” of conversation can begin to make a difference.
